eyelet curtains with diameter of 4cm eyelets

so what size pole do I buy please? 3cm+ or will the curtain eyelets kind of sag if I get any more than 4cm?

if the inner diameter is 4 cms you need a pole with no more than 3.5cm diameter or you won't be able to slide the curtain!
