Kitchen design advice

Hi!
Looking for a little advice on our kitchen design...
We have really only one external wall where we can put our solid fuel range (flue) and our hob/extractor fan.
The question is would you put them side by side and put one very large overmantle over both? (gas hob with set of wide drawers
beneath)
OR would you put them side by side with a mantle/extractor fan over the hob and leave the range with no mantle over it (at the end of the run of cabinets)? This option would enable me to put up a rack for drying clothes on the wall over the range.
OR would I put a small 30cm unit between the range and the hob? Which would also give a little counter space between them too....

Or any other ideas?!

Can't advise you per se, but if you can catch the eye of OnePlanonHouzz she should be able to (is professional designer) - I only usually see her on the Property/DIY board though.
