Tulipwood kitchen will need painting - your advice?

I think I read on here once that someone got their wood kitchen spray painted by a garage! I am toying with this idea, spraying it myself (quite nervous about that and would like recommendations of good spray paints) or if the best way is simply F&B?

Am also nervous about where to paint it as it will be delivered after the flooring which I don't want to get damaged. Possibly why getting it sprayed professionally is appealing to me!

I am now toying between white/cream, very pale blue or very pale grey...which makes me think I should go white as it will go with everything. Reddish wood floors, white tiles and carrara white quartz worktop are the accompanying features!

I'm afraid I have no useful advice other than to Say what you are planning sounds lovely. I am very much liking pale grey at the moment had lunch with a friend in cafe which they have just revamped using creams/ light grey almost duck egg blue colours!

My kitchen gets painted every few years by my trusty local painter ! He uses oil based eggshell and it looks fab ! We've had white, duck egg and this time blue!! It's great to have a change !!

I had a thread on painting kitchens a few weeks ago - got some great advice, my kitchen has now been done in little greene traditional eggshell which reeks and is a gorgeous pale French Grey now. Traditional Painter website has a step by step which was useful. It was a huge amount of work for the painter though, and they did manage to get spots of paint all over the floor which I plan to change so not a disaster for us.

This is it oneplan - I like all three colour options so it's going to be hard to choose!

I am so glad you need to re-floor silver as I can see the exact same happening to me.

I am asking the builder if he can spare someone to do it but had no response (I bet it is one of those jobs they love to hate) and perhaps I'd have better luck asking if they know a good garage we could ship it off to!
Not sure I'd trust the garage not to scratch or dent it, however. The best bit about this idea is it is done fast, effectively and not in my house. These keep rounding on me as very important points indeed!

Not really any chance of me doing it sadly as I am on my own with DD and small hands and adult paints don't mix and take about 20x the time that should be needed remembers the small wardrobe that needed sanding and 3 coats and took 2 weeks
