Made to Measure curtains urgently needed

We are moving in five weeks' time and John Lewis have totally f*ed me around and not got back to us with a quote, despite them having measured up, being aware of our moving date, and me having been in consultation with them since bloody July!

So, if anyone has any recommendations of companies that do made-to-measure curtains in less than five weeks, I'd love to hear them. I'm looking to similar quality to JL and naice cotton ones please, not polyester or viscose. Are Next any good? Laura Ashley?

We're in W. Herts if anyone knows of a small company that can turn orders around quickly and has a good selection of fabrics. Any help gratefully received.

Talk to local fabric shops they will know some one, ours told us about a lady in Warrington who worked for one of the big co's but had a workshop at home and made ours to the same quality but far cheaper and better service

We recently moved and had to have all our blinds custom made due to the window sizes. We used blinds2go online and found them great, delivery within 7 working days and helpful customer service. They have a sister site called curtains2go so I'd imagine that'd be just as good.

24/7 curtains on the net are fab. Have used their made to measure blind service as well

Does the blind company send all the attachments to make them easy to fit and put up? I ask as amateur DIYer with DH useless at DIY!

m and s do a 7 day range but i have no experience of them. my friend got some pretty good ones from next in terms of quality, not my taste of fabric!!
