Hi there fellow paint enthusiasts!

I had a bit of a nightmare at the weekend when all of my lovely paint samples all turned out to be far too dark on our walls. The house isn't dark, but rooms are quite small, so I imagine this was part of the problem.

I'm looking for a bright, clean, off-white (perhaps with a tiny hint of grey/lilac). I had tried F&B's Blackened but it's far too grey. Any alternative suggestions? Great White perhaps?

For the nursery I had liked F&B's Calluna, but agin, it's too dark.

Any ideas? It doesn't have to be F&B, Dulux will do!

Thanks for the help in advance!

Lex

cornforth white is lovely but its much darker grey than blackened.

How about strong white F & B.

are the rooms empty at the moment - as the walls will take on some colours off the flooring and furniture too - so may alter the affect a little. ie warm pine flooring and tan leather for as will counter balance the grey tinges somewhat !

Hi all, thanks for the advice! I've decided on strong white for big bedroom, and cabbage white for nursery... Lovely!
