God, no. Why on earth would you?

MrsLettuce · 02/10/2013 16:44

Depends entirely if it's an original feature or an incongruous modern addition...

50shadesofmeh · 02/10/2013 18:44

No it makes rooms look much more finished and neat.

mummaemma · 02/10/2013 19:47

No leave it. Is it an old or modern house?

wonkylegs · 02/10/2013 22:44

If it's real plaster coving and appropriate to the age of the house keep it.
If it's awful polystyrene crap added in 80's90's etc consider what it's hiding and think about removing it.

poocatcherchampion · 03/10/2013 06:27

phew! it is an 80s house so it is an original feature I guess rather than hiding a shocker in an antique house.
we will paint and think no more about it.
happy days

Echo others. It finishes a room whatever the age of the house.
