We have a large light playroom and a smaller, though decent sized, somewhat dark kitchen.
We've knocked through the wall between them so there's now a breakfast bar - they're still two rooms but pretty open between them.
The kitchen has cream units and stone flooring.
The playroom will have dark green leather sofas and mustardy curtains with small leaves of dar and light green and maroon, a small section of stone flooring and the rest oak flooring.
Previously the kitchen walls were a kind of light aqua colour and the playroom antique cream, both of which I liked but I'm struggling on how to decorate.
I fancied light green for the kitchen but don't want that all the way through the playroom and the antique cream on the playroom looks rubbish against the cream units but if I paint the kitchen one colour and the playroom another will I lose the flow though? I also am not sure where to stop the kitchen colour and start the playroom.
But I'm struggling to choose one colour to go all the way through.
Would one colour be better or would two work?
I've now bought about 8 colour pots and am boring myself!!
Please help!
