Very large sofa throws?

We have two seater and a large three seater sofas, we also have two children with sticky fingers! In a bid to keep the covers vaguely ppresentable I'm trying to find some large throws which I can wash quickly and easily.

Ive tried dunelm mill and homebase but they just don't have anything big enough.

Super King size sheets (or duvet covers for thicker option) will cover most things - opt for non iron ones for ease of laundering etc ! :-)

I got one from eBay. I think the seller was this one. It was cheap and cheerful and I've been quite happy with it.

Haven't washed them though! But the colour I chose is quite forgiving.

I bought the exact ones starling suggests from ebay. I bought just one black one large enough to cover a 3 seater and have washed it already as I was worried that some excess dye may rub on the sofa fabric.

I haven't actually used it but its been on for a trial and it looks fines, its actually a bit big but my sofa is very compact depth wise and has very narrow little arm rests.

The black was super black but now its been washed, its less black and looks better in my opinion.

I air dried my on the line outside and its shape is fine but dont know how im going to dry it in winter as its huge.

I got a battleship grey shade 2 seater one from "b and m" but i dont know if they have shops outside the midlands. "Home Bargains" might have them. it was about 12.99 and same as above, huge for the 2 seater but again, its a very compact sofa.

I bought some from Ikea. V inexpensive and wash well. I have expensive throws but after ds2 threw up on one, they only come out when I have visitors!

I have just bought the ones starling recommends for my ikea karlstad corner sofa. Will let you know how I get on. We need 5 throws for it at the moment. Drives us nuts .

Okay. The throws arrived this morning and I am we'll impressed! I bought a jumbo and a double to cover my ikea karlstad 3+2 sofa. They are really generous on the sofa and plenty of fabric to tuck in. I bought the aubergine to go with the brown sofa. The waffle fabric looks quite sturdy and should do the job really well. Much better than the ikea throws that lasted a year before falling apart and cheaper than buying replacement covers.

Another one with the same ones from ebay - that seller must be rich!
