can anyone help with kitchen tiles?

hi i have an light oak kitchen with black sparkly worktops and black floor tiles, but i have no idea what colour tiles to put on the walls,
suggestions would be much appreiciated

How black is the flooring? is that sparkly too? Personally i would have upstands as i dont like tiles in kitchens. If you post a picture you will get better responses.

Something more along the colour tones of the cabinets I think ?! Maybe a subway style ?! Not too dark as it sounds like you have more than enough dark going on already ! :-)
