Interesting wrapping paper to use as poster for nursery wall

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but am looking for suggestions on the above - I love the Cavallini alphabet prints, and have already decided on one of those, but I'm also after perhaps two more posters, to make a set of three to be framed above the cot.

Does anyone have any ideas? I thought maybe a map, but ideally I'd like something a bit simpler - maybe even three differnt alphabet posters, in different styles? That might confuse the baby though...;)

Perhaps animal linocuts, or plants/flowers?

I've seen a lovely alphabet print on notonthehightst for £24, which is why I'm looking for wrapping paper...closer to the £3 mark!

Look in Waterstones - they have some fabulous wrapping papers including maps, vintage alphabet designs etc. Also JL sometimes have the sort of thing you're looking for.x

madmomma there were some lovely wrapping papers in JL and Waterstones but much to my annoyance they all said "Happy Birthday" across them, in big letters! Perhaps somewhat understandably.

Wonkylegs that's really helpful, thanks - I appreciate you linking to all those. I've had a good look through them all and have now ordered a lovely (smaller) poster from Etsy, as I've realised that all the wrapping papers are at least 50 x 70cm, and a bit too big for our nursery!

But dammit I wish I'd seen those Learn For Fun ones on that site before I ordered this Etsy one! I don't know which ones I like best now...

Paperchase have some absolutely beautiful ones, I can't find it on their website but in their shops where they have the big a1 ish size sheets soem of the sheets have poster type things on like a map, numbers, letters etc. They only cost about £2 then you can just buy a frame separately

We have a London print from famillesummerbelle in our bedroom and it looks so good. So many different things to look at.

There is currently a sheet of wrapping paper in John Lewis that is all the Mr Men. No 'happy birthday' or anything to spoil it being a poster. Am thinking of buying it for my ds.
