what colour to go with sky blue?

Dd's new bedroom is painted sky blue on 4 walls. She loves the colour but it is a bit much. I wondered about painting 2 walls a paler colour - any ideas what would go?

Thanks!

very pale green - eau de nil or similar?

\link{http://static.twoday.net/riceandspuds/images/COLOURlovers-com-Moth_pale_green1.png\this kind of colour} - maybe a bit lighter

(my kids had pale blue/pale green striped T-shirts when they were little & I always thought they went really well together)

Thank you both. I do really like that pale green, but DD quite likes the idea of white or light yellow. Maybe I will paint them white and if she wants to change later it won't be a big hassle.

well you can't go wrong with white

nice & cheap too Smile

I think it depends how bright the blue is, but white would be a safe bet to start off with, some shades of blue go really well with a slight creamy colour/jasmine white if she wanted something a bit softer than white.

Yeah I am worried about white and blue being cold. Then again, liking the cheapness! I had an idea to paint two walls white, then add some little white clouds on the blue walls, rainbow curtains, glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling and a kite in the top corner. I have a kite which has never flown!

Yellow would go well, IMO

I've just painted our dining area yellow and the door skyblue, it's a good combination
