Bedroom colours - need some inspiration

We're about to redo our bedroom, quite a small room so we've picked all white furniture & bedframe (IKEA Birkeland) and a cream for the walls to make it look as light and spacious as possible.

Haven't got any bedding, curtains etc yet as I'm a bit stuck whether to brighten it up with a colour or stick to plain & go with a white or cream?

Would it look a bit bland?

I might go with a soft colour for some accessories like a throw and cushions, like a duck egg blue, pale grey or a light goldy/lime colour. I think carrying on with white could look a bit featureless unless you have a focal point like a painting or something.

Good ideas, I was thinking gold or a green, thanks for that
