Duvet Togs?

Many of the duvets I've seen are wrapped so I'm battling to gauge thickness and quality.

What do you recommend for summer and winter duvet togs?

I ended up getting silk duvets 4 tog - use them all year around just wear pjs in the winter!

I bought them from here and worth absolutely every penny, the quality is outstanding compared to every other duvet I have ever tried!

Go for their cotton ones if silk is beyond your budget.

Is this what you're referring to? Looks great: www.duvetandpillowwarehouse.co.uk/duvets/luxury-pure-silk.html

Ours are 4.5 summer and 10.5 winter.

4.5 Morrison's one for summer £6 double and wonderful :)

For winter I go for a 13.5 tog but I am a chilly mortal !

I was planning to buy a down or silk one but was a bit Shock at the price. Asked advice in John Lewis and the assistant suggested getting their "Peach Soft" one in the meantime if we were unsure. It is apparently their bestseller and it is gorgeous, we like it so much I haven't got round to researching the others as I had planned!

Yes that is the silk one. They stay in place inside the duvet covers - worth the money for that alone! I think the all cotton ones will be great though too as they have cotton outers and are quilted. I think though the synthetic ones are dirt cheap they don't last well IME.

Is this reasonably priced? I like that it's two duvets - summer and winter - and can be clipped together for extra warmth (Superking all seasons @ 138.60):

For a natural fibre one it seems to be.
