I have one wall covered in dated built in wardrobes which I plan on removing the doors, and sticking some white ikea sliding doors on the front of hopefully.

I don't know what to do with the room though. I'd like a new bed, bedding, window covering (curtain/blind) and just don't know where to start!

Oh and obviously walls will need painting/papering. They are currently all landlord magnolia emulsion, including the dado rail. Hmm

We're just about to do ours. :)

I'm going to get the red ikea sliding doors. A new bed which is white/ cream metal frame from John lewis (a bargain at £225) and maybe paint the walls white ish. They're currently beige/ biscuit/ latte/ light brown coloured.
I'm aiming for a Scandinavian theme so want some curtain fabric in that style but we have wooden blinds which are staying so they'll do till I find the right fabric.

I really ought to do the dc's rooms but I'm feeling selfish. :)

I quite like a lot of the funky fabrics at ikea.

I'm not keen on anything with a small fussy pattern, I prefer big and bold with bright colours.

I think there is so much choice it makes it too hard! Grin

It's not selfish at all suddengeekgirl, I for one am looking forward to a nice place in the house that's just mine.

Have a look on Houzz.com - you can search bedroom pictures, with sliding doors or a chandelier or whatever you fancy - loads of inspiration! Far too many houses I would love to live in though.....

Foxred I am loving that Houzz site! Thanks Smile
