I'm just dreaming about tiled floors and free-standing baths...

I have my perfect bathroom and I'm about to leave it behind when we move :( small 1960s estate house bathroom, we found a double ended bath which I've always wanted but they are generally too big, have oodles of storage (drawers, vanity cupboard and under bath storage), mains mixer shower which is lovely and powerful. nice simple modern taps, white suite and built in furniture, tongue and groove painted dusky sky blue on two walls, plain white towels round the bath. slightly grey laminate wood effect floor. lovely blinds I made and a pretty vintage style mirror. All very fresh, seasidey and gorgeous. I'm so not s fan of beige :(

tiles, not towels!!

Oooh that sounds wonderful! We haven't done the bathroom since moving in to our house so we have:

Carpet
A bath with completely straight sides so impossible to relax in
Shower in the bath (it doesn't fix to the wall in any way so you have to crouch to shower)
Wood panels half way up the walls. There is not a single tile in my bathroom.

In imagining how nice it could be...

we are planning a bathroom not unlike Bettys. but with bright pink on the walls, 2 basins and also a ton of storage. family bathroom this one is and will be lush!

It would be pretty close to the low cost one we're doing - soft vinyl floor rather than tiles, omnitub tosave space - but there would be an extra cupboard for a butler to come out of when I needed a wine glass filling, or to clean the tiles when I'm done.
