DDs first bedroom, princess theme

Moving soon and DD (2.5) will be having her 1st bedroom she is princess and disney mad, but really don't want to go down the usual bright pink and disney duvet route, would like a French style bed, but out of price range so am hunting high and low for a headboard in that style I could add to an existing single bed, has anyone spotted one?

Was thinking of pale colours for walls, either pastel pink with ivory bedding or pale grey with pastel pink bedding, any other suggestions?

Would like to add the princess theme through accessories, like a crystal chandelier and vintage disney posters, was thinking of painting tromp lo'el arched windows looking out to a castle ect, does anyone think this would be tacky or over kill?

I'd go for non pink walls, if/when she grows out of it, easier to change accessories than wall colour! pale grey sounds lovely.

I bought a french antique sleigh bed from EBay and painted it cream...could you do something like this? Would look very princessy if I put a canopy up too!
