We have an ikea Karlstad corner sofa with the lovely (?) korndal brown covers. I use some mushroom coloured throws, but they are in an awful state after a year of covering up the pads, just worn through, they were only thin cotton type. I rotated them between cushions that were less used, but it still looks a dogs dinner. I am also fed up of having to straighten them all the time.
I have it in mind to buy a removable cover type option for the cushions and pads and some kind of sleeve for the armrest.
I don't want to spend a fortune as this is the most uncomfortable sofa we have ever owned and we can't afford to replace it. But I can't stand it looking so messy.
I have a 2y7m DD and a 9w DS so want something practical to stick in the wash.
Any recommendations on where to look?
