We're putting a new kitchen into a house we moved into this week. Have picked an Ikea kitchen (white gloss units, walnut effect workstops) but I'm stumped for flooring.
It's a big dining kitchen and I want it to be warm (so not keen on tiles - I assume underfloor hearing to be expensive). Our hall has a lovely original wood floor (period house) so not sure about a wood type finish as it could clash (also, our dining table and chairs are wood and I worry about the finishes flashing). Vinyl's an option but not sure what type of pattern to consider....
Also, should we be looking at a different flooring for the dining room area???? So confused - please help!
