Bloody expensive, about 800 once you've included glazing, letterbox etc.

Lots of firms don't have prices online, do they? V annoying!

Set up an email account for spam and give a fake number (eg: 0161 1111111)

We have a Rock Door which cost about £1100. You can get cheaper than that but we wanted something really solid.

AgentProvocateur · 29/06/2013 21:30

Agree with the others - our cheapest quote was £900. Which was about £700 more than I was expecting.

check the lock is anti bump

ZolaBuddleia · 29/06/2013 22:20

What does 'anti bump' mean?

mercibucket · 30/06/2013 16:35

bumping is what they call a technique thieves use to pick the lock. it looks like you left the door unlocked so your insurance wont pay out. a lot of upvc type doors have these locks

HystericalParoxysm · 30/06/2013 16:44

£800 each for mine.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 30/06/2013 16:47

Ours was in the region of £1000, including a small window above (forget what they're called), removal of old upvc front door and fitting.
