Polka dot vinyl flooring

For the utility room, all being done on a budget, Stat Ikea units, wooden tops, white ceramic sink and retro metro tiles, but tons of tiles not FE, half the price! DP wants vinyl flooring. I assumed that meant hideousness and on the whole that does seem to be the case. I have found Cath Kidston polka dot vinyl tiles at Harvey Maria which I really like but they are £££ at nearly £50 per square metre. I can't find anything similar for cheaper, any ideas??

I also like these www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008DRWEEM but DP does not.

Not helpful, yawningbear, but I've only seen polkadot tiles at John lewis and they are the Cath Kidston ones.

Not polka dot but nice, and only £20 per square metre - Rose des Vents

UnrequitedSkink · 22/06/2013 13:25

The Rose des Vents one is fab, I think you should try to change his mind. [Helpful]

Another not helpful post - they're lovely!

Another unhelpful post I'm afraid but dh and I have had a look and he thinks we could do one of them as its only a small room. Woo hoo! Thanks yawning

Thank you all for your unhelpful posts Wink

I have ordered a free sample of the Cath Kidston polka dot stuff but am also now thinking black & white tiles might be a cheaper way to go.

We have ruled out the Rosé des vents one on the basis that you have to stick them to plywood and we have just had some damp work done which means we can't nail down the plywood. At least that is what DP says. He reckons they are actually floor stickers not tiles. I still think they look gorgeous, I reckon your room will look fab Pimpf.

Have also ordered some gorgeous looking tile samples from Tons of Tiles, way cheaper than the Fired Earth Earth ones. And DP just got £80 off the ceramic sink as it has a tiny mark on it Smile
