Bunkbeds - advice needed

Our DSs will soon be sharing a room and I'd like to get bunkbeds for them but need some advice re what kind.

I think it would be handy if they came apart into two normal, full size singles but there seems to be a huuge range of prices out there - the ikea ones are £210 and some other ones I quite like are well over £1500!

Is it worth paying more? Has anyone seen some fab ones?

Have a look at amazon. I got basic bunks from there and they can be singles too. I was pleased with the quality. The reviews are really helpful there as well.

Totally recommend the M&S ones - usually about £300 when there's an offer on (ie every couple of months). You can't 'officially' divide them but actually you can, although the top bunk has rails almost all the way round. They also assemble them in place for you.

My ds-s have one like this, except that their ladder is straight, not slanted. We chose it over other beds that we looked at, as it seemed very solid. They have had it for 4 years now and it is excellent.

Our DSs have this one comes in white or wood colour and can be split into two singles.

They've had it for nearly 5 years now and it still seems nice and solid.

I think they have these mattresses on it
