Help with choosing paint for house exterior

I have got to choose a colour for the render on our new house and the colours which seem closest to what I have in my head are both from the 'posh paint' spectrum (DH just rolled his eyes at me when I showed him!) F and B String or Little Greene Mid Stock or Mid Clay are the ones I like..I'm basically trying to find a stoney colour that isn't too yellow or pink, but also not too 'miserable looking'!

I think String is my favourite but I'm not sure if it's too yellowy...I know it's quite a popular colour so am hoping some of you might have it and tell me what you think. Btw I am painting the windows an off-white colour but not sure which one yet, suppose I need to choose the render colour first.

Have any of you used either F+B or LG's masonry paints and are they as good as the usual Sandtex or Weathershield in terms of protection and durability? I suppose I could try to get them colour matched but not sure if that's a bit risky. I don't mind paying a bit more for the paint if I know I'm getting the right colour..just as long as it lasts.

We are building a woodsy farm house in the country. I was so frustrated trying to pick an exterior paint color that I actually PRAYED and asked God to help me. I had picked a certain color and my dad went to the store to get it. When he put it up I was delighted. It was perfect. Just what I wanted. "I can't believe that has so much green in it. Paint is so hard to predict."
