Can't attach curtains to curtain rings.. Help pls!

Hello all,

I just bought a pair of pencil pleat curtains and I am trying to hang them. But the curtain rings are similar to this www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6243971.htm

They have a hook in the shape of figure 8 but with no opening. I am not understanding how to attach the curtain to it.

Any help on this will be appreciated!

I think you want some ordinary curtain hooks, and then the hooks hook through the holes in the figure-8 bits.

Yes I'd second tribpot's suggestion, put the curtain hooks through the pencil pleat heading, then through the bits in the rings.
