If you had jade green kitchen cupboards...

...and a cream range cooker, what tiles would you put behind it?

Kitchen is being fitted as I type. The cupboards are all low level, and a very vibrant turquoise/jade green. The floor is checked lino, grey and off-white. Walls are off-white.

Not sure whether to pick up the jade in the tiles or stay neutral, do pattern or plain etc

Need a style guru...

Plain and neural IMO - you want the cupboards to be the main feature not competing with something else.
Perhaps a colour from the floor to tie it in?

Neutral or possibly pale grey.
I think I would match the colour of the range cooker.
