kitchen color help!!

My kitchen cupboards are a light wood and the tiles are yellow white and redish brown, sounds horrible i know! I want to paint the walls but Im stuck on what colour, help please!!

I'm thinking of painting a feature wall in the kitchen so watching with interest. But here are my thoughts

You could go for white plus a feature wall of strong colour, so less of commitment to colour IYSWIM, then it is easily changed.

To maintain shades I would go for a mustard or Limey yellow to got with tiles, this is very fashionable at the moment and there are lots of accessories and blinds around etc.

To add another colour for contrast go for strong mid moss green. But this is adding an additional colour (i always stick to two main colours and an accent colour) depend much colour you have with the tiles, I mean the amount and brightness.

These two colours are on the Orla Keily leaf pattern. I maybe be totally off but this scheme and styling fits with my current house and kitchen. Its not what I would choose if I were doing from scratch.

My kitchen has light peachy coloured units, black top (came with house) cream tiles and white walls. I want to paint the wall yellow opposite end kitchen where units are and put black leather chairs around table.
