brown sofa and grey carpet

Posted earlier in wrong section. Our new house has a brand new dark grey carpet and dark grey walls, it all looks a bit too gloomy. We've got to keep the carpet and somehow tie it in with our dark brown leather sofas. What colours could I use for the walls, curtains and cushions? Really got no idea!

Sorry been on the cooking sherry! Was going to say brown and grey are great together; perhaps lighten walls a bit with a lighter shade of grey and maybe add in some accent colour accessories?

I'd also lighten the walks then add accessories in cream or lime green depending what kind of look you'd like.

I'd do the cushions that are knitted chunky throws
