Can anyone recommend a Christmas tree smell substitute.

After 40 years on the planet have bought a fake tree for the first time this year for reasons of cost, disposal ease etc. BUT am missing the pine smell of a real tree - any recommendations??

Get some pine essential oil. In a diffuser it will give the right effect.

Noel spray from Crabtree and Evelyn is the best Christmas smell very piney with a few other lovely smells for good measure

Cedar, sandalwood and cypress are fairly easy to find, then there's vetiver and guaiac wood.

I'd go for a bowl of pot pourri with a few drops of oil placed on a radiator by the tree, with scented candles for evenings in.
