loads, where do want to go? East or West, sea views, fishing village?

How about this one for starters....

is £345 for the week and sleeps 6. Ferry from Oban takes 2 hours, go as foot passengers and there is a wee bus that drops you and your stuff at the cottage. Bikes for hire etc. You can even train it to Oban and the trains tie in with ferries.

Its 3 hours to Oban from Edinburgh, then you get the ferry from there to Colonsay.......

We go for a long weekend usually as the ferries work out well. Lochcarron is very nice too tho! Have fun

Hi,
We stayed at the Colonsay Hotel last year, what a gorgeous part of the world! Kids were younger then though so could be put to bed so we could enjoy the evening..
This year we decided to go self catering and wanted room for them (and my brothers kids) to roam! found a few sites with bigger properties that had the space we needed:

www.groupaccommodation.com is great if you're a bigger group. we ended up staying in a great bunkhouse in the Brecons Beacons in wales. Think it was called Glynmeddig?! will have to check it, loads of space, massive garden, kids ran wild, we chilled in the sun!
