Went there yesterday for the first time and thought it was absolutely great. Huge lake with safe, flat paths for kids to cycle/scoot round. Large playground, cafe, kid-friendly pub, little farmyard with animals, maze. Lovely lawns with trees for a shady picnic. All free - well they like a donation of £1, so almost free . Wasn't over busy even though it was a boiling hot day in August, probably because the place is so huge.
