Youth hosteling: what food to take?

Can anyone suggest some great meals I can pre-make for a youth-hosteling weekend with four boys?

Besides spag bol, I'm struggling to think of anything. Needs to be easy and quick to prepare/reheat, as the cooker/microwave facilities are limited.

TIA

In my experience, it is not a good idea to go for much that requires oven cooking. Unless facilities have improved greatly in recent years, the best things to cook are casseroles (as already suggested). The equipment available is usually pretty ropey, so bring your own casserole dish/pan if you can.

Thanks Lilymaid. Good tip,
