Personal Recommendations for family holiday?

Hi. we are looking for a last minute holiday from 12 July for a week. (or anytime from 12 July - must return by 22 July).

Requirements:

UK or Europe
Beach for children aged 4 and 1.
Swimming pool
Not too big a hotel.
Half board or fully inclusive.

It's been ages since we went on holiday - and with my husband being away for the next 8 months I feel we could do with a nice holiday. somewhere friendly - doesn't have to be 5*. I would consider nice selfcatering but I really would like a hols for myself and have supper cooked for me!

I know there are so many places out there - but I would really love a good personal recommendation.

I live and work in Tenerife as a nanny, babysitter and i think the Iberostar Gran Anthelia in Tenerife is great for both adults and children.

I worked with a family who stayed there and had 4 children, eldest 8years and youngest 1 year old and the children loved there holiday as they have a kids club that we went to every day and the outside has a large sand pit with a slide etc and a little pool that is very shallow and in the evenings they had a mini disco every night which was great and then followed by a show.

The hotel location is right on the beach too with great shops, restaurants bars etc.
