Help me please! i've been trying to book us a holiday forever now but my DH keeps changing the dates on me! we wanted to go to the clubmed palmiye but he now said that he can only go last week of august. i am worried that with a 2.5 yo and a 8m old we will have hell of a holiday in such heat. i.e. they won't sleep, eat, etc. am i right to worry or will we be ok?

I would think Antalya would be unbearably hot in August.

There are many other lovely places in Turkey. Cesme, for example, is a bit more to the North, on the Western Coast of Turkey near Greek islands.

They have had temperatures in the 40's there last week.

We looked into going August time to Lara Beach which is just down from Antalya and decided that it would be too hot even with aircon.

I don't think there is a lot of breeze in that area either so you could end up spending a lot of time inside to be able to cool down.
