Does anyone know of a travel insurance policy that properly covers UK trips? Have had problems before when I have gone to the Channel Islands, for example, and the policy apparently "covers" UK, but when a ferry was missed due to late flight, they said you can't claim the extra accommodation costs because you didn't "depart the UK".... grr. real technicality, as clearly to get to CI you need a ferry or an aeroplane so I don't see why it doesn't count?
Anyway, any recommendations gratefully received. thanks in advance.
