Help with finding a cruise?

Was hoping someone might be able to help as I feel like I am going round in circles.

Dh, Ds (3) and I would like to go on a cruise round the med at the end of the summer...

Have spent hours a wee bit of time looking online but to be honest I havent got a clue what I am looking for - there seems to be so many ships/routes/options.

Ideally we'd like to fly from Glasgow, and dod a family friendly cruise round the med for a week to 10 days. Not wanting to do the "cheapest" option, having said that we arent really wanting to spend 10k!

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be most welcome!

TIA

I have pondered over whether I would enjoy a cruise. For some reason I feel a bit too young for one. In my head it isn't something you do unless you are late twenties (26+) but this is probably a massive misconception. Can anyone convince me I would actually really enjoy it?
