Car seat & accident

I am not sure this is the correct place to post this ....

We were stationary at a petrol station when someone reversed into our car.

My and DD were in the car all strapped in. Not a big hit but shunted the car and damaged the wing and headlight.Scared me half to death though! DD only 7 months old.

What do we do about the care seat? Does it need to be replaced? What are the rules?

Thanks

When we were in an accident, the insurance company paid for the replacement seats as a matter of course. Think we just bought new and sent the receiots

Keep the car seat cover from the old seat - safe to reuse/sell that.
