Which airports have flights to Madeira? Has anyone been there in February? Would you recommend it?

It supposed to be lovely but not sure how warm it is at that time of year. This is a great place to find flights.

We went about 5 years ago and enjoyed it. The people are incredibly friendly. I think the climate is pretty much the same all year round - like the Canaries so Feb should be fine.

There is lots to do there, but as a obsessive keen foodie I did find the food very disappointing.

Went in November. Flew from Bristol with easyjet which was fine into Funchal.

Lovely island, very green and relaxing though seems to have a population with an average age of 60! Not th place to go for a wild time, very sedate, but I liked it. Agree with Jeff though, didnt find any really good eateries.

Sedate and pleasantly warm sounds good, and flying from Bristol perfect!

We/ve been in early Jan for a week with our 2yo (she turned 3 while we were there) and it was nice, about 18-22 degrees, Feb would be warmer. Did a package with Thomson and it wasn't all blue rinses! Had a great time though and there's enough to do in a week to keep you amused and they love children there. I would still choose a hotel that has in indoor heated pool however.

My favourite temperature!
