Complete fantasy or possible reality?!

I have this fantasy and wondered if anyone knows a place where it could come true! It goes like this: husband, me & 5/6yr old children staying in a nice UK hotel (pref. north Eng), with really good restaurant we can have leisurely adult lunch in, while children are being entertained for free in kids club or similar; we meet up at teatime for kids tea at a sensible time like 6pm (not a restaurant that only opens at 7 when kids are unbearably tired & the meal is hellish); then after the kids are asleep there's somewhere within earshot that we can sit with a glass of wine. Has anyone ever lived this fantasy and if so, where?!

Funny you should mention Crieff Hydro - was talking to a friend today who went last week with her dh and 8yo son and they loved it.

this is months later, but.. we went to crieffhydro and absolutely loved it. would recommend it to anyone with kids. Our daughter couldn't wait for kids club to open for each of her sessions. kids club was brilliant, & operated in evenings till 9, so we parents could have dinner alone together - a real novelty for us! the pool was lovely, the only way we could get our daughter out once she'd been in for an hour, was by saying if she didn't come now, she'd miss the beginning of kids club!!
