Car seat confusion in taxi transfer!

Hi

We are going on holiday with the in-laws in August. They have organised the whole thing and I'm just trying to make sure they have thought of everything we would need.

My daughter will be 20 months when we go. Last time i went abraod with her she was still in her infant car seat so I took that with us. Now she is in a huge rearward facing monstrosity!

we will only be in a car in transfer to and from the resort. Do you reckon I could use a booster seat? The lower weight limit on them is 33 pounds and two weeks ago she was 28 pounds, so she wont be far off it.

Any and all advice appreciated!

Ta

Where are you going?
how far is the journey
you will probably find that local taxis are completely unsympathetic, stating that it is not against the law to not have a carseat, blah blah. It is true, but I hate it. We usually hire a car with car seat just for this reason
If its a big city airport, you might find a cab with a drop down car seat, usually in big 7 seaters.
I don't think booster seats are good for little ones, wrong height, but I could be wrong

We are going to Zante, no idea how big an airport that is. Will go and see if I can find a website for taxi's in Zante

Thanks whatname!

Just in case anyone searches and comes across this thread - we got in touch with the lady who runs the apartments we are going to and she has booked us a taxi with a car seat. Yay! One less thing to worry about
