advice regarding cyprus

want to go to cyprus in october. Have a 10year and 21/2year old dds.

Temperature will still be warm (shorts & T Shirt during the daytime), however, many tourist areas will be starting to pack up for the winter, so there may not be as much open or things to do as there is in the summer.
