Need nice hotel in Paris for me and my Mum. Anyone?

I usually use the Mr and Mrs Smith guidebooks but they are for couples and as I'm going with my Mum, not really appropriate. I need a nice clean hotel, twin bed type establishment, not too far away from the Louvre. I'm treating her in December to a little art loving!

Anyone got a great find they could pass on?

Dh took me to Paris for the weekend in July for our anniversary and we stayed at the Hotel Lenox in St Germain which was lovely. Quite small, but really nice rooms and reasonable too - i think it was Eur130 a night. It's close to the Jardin de Luxembourg which is gorgeous.
