Has anyone done this recently?
The last time I did was around 3 years ago. You used to come through flight connections, have your passport checked, walk along a corridor, down an escalator into terminal 1. You would turn right and there was a newsagent and the old British Airways lounge. Walk on a bit and British Midland departure gates were just there. All that was there was a loo and somewhere to get a coffee.
I am coming back to the UK but need to buy some clinique stuff. I don't want to be caught with security checks but it does seem that Terminal 1 has changed recently and that there may actually now be shopping.
Has anyone been recently - can anyone remember the old layout that is able to confirm the new layout?
