Playmobil Funpark, Paris - Anyone been?

We're hoping to head to France for our holidays in September and as we're staying just north of Paris, we were thinking of visiting the Playmobil Funpark. Both DH and I have visited the one in Malta so presuming it'll be along the same lines ie rooms full of Playmobil to play with? Our daughters will be nearly 4 and 9 months. And is there a cafe?

Haven't been but desperately want to! It is on my 'to do' list for the next 12 months.

Not been to the one in Paris but we went to a fun park near Nice that had a Playmobil Funpark within it. It was only one large room with loads of Playmobil and different types set up on different tables eg. a house, a farm, construction etc. DD1 was nearly 4 and loved it. DD2 was very upset as they wouldn't let her in the room as she was under 3 - we have Playmobil at home and she would have played with it before we went so we knew she would be fine with it and not choke but they stuck to a strict minimum age of 3. Just if you do go your group may be split up as they may be funny about the 9 month old.

Thanks for that Fresh. Think we'll go anyway - all in the name of research of other MNers of course!

Fresh - can you remember the name of that park? We are heading to Nice soon and my children would love it - have googled but can't find it.

Hi littledawley, I will describe where it was as neither Dh or I can remember what it was called. Just west of Nice there are about 3 theme parks next to each other. One is the marine animal park with whales and dolphins, the other is the water fun park with loads of slides/flumes and there is a smaller Wild West Theme Park next them. The Playmobil area was in the Wild West Theme Park. The park itself is quite basic and old but the 2 and 4 year olds loved it as there was a small train ride, donkey ride, bouncy castle, boat ride thing and the Playmobil. I can imagine older kids would be very unimpressed though : )

If you pick up a leaflet for the theme parks from the tourist office there is an advert for the Playmobil area on it and the pricing - you can pay just to get into that park as we felt our kids were too young to appreciate the other parks and we would do them another time.
