Going to Tamworth/Thomas land for a few days. What else to do nearby with 3 year old??

Hello, we're off to Tamworth tomorrow. Staying in a hotel for 2 nights. Going to Thomasland on Thursday.

What else is worth doing with a 3 year old close by. Its a 4 hour drive for us so want to make the most of it.

Looking for something to do on Friday for a few hours after we check out but before we have to set off home.

We are staying close to Snowdome so will have a look there tomorrow afteroon when we arrive.

You could go to Conkers- it's near Jct 11 of M42 & is an outdoor activity place, lots of stuff to do & based on nature theme, my 7 & 4 yr olds love it. Could do Twycross Zoo (Jct 11 M42)or Ash End House Farm (v near Tamworth)
Bit further from tamworth is Hatton Country World (Jct 16 M40)This is great day out but is about £10 admission each-adults & kids, kids can feed animals, watch sheep shearing, ther's bouncy castles, helter skelter, panning for gold, dog agility trials, nice pub nearby that does food
Also how about Warwick castle? again, expensive but good day out. Have a great trip!
