Air New Zealand - on board entertainment

Just booked flights to LA with Air New Zealand, please can anyone tell me what to expect in terms of in-flight entertainment for the dc.

Unfortunately last time we flew to the US we travelled Virgin so the dc have rather high expectations. Sadly could not afford it this time.

Thanks.

I flew with Air NZ to Auckland, via LA, and thought the onboard entertainment was superb, easily as good as Virgin. And I would rate Air NZ more highly than Virgin overall.

They had a huge choice of films and tv shows, lots of music and games which I didn't use, but there seemed to be a lot of those too. They cater for serious longhaul, so they are well equipped.

I think your dcs will be fine

Air NZ much better than Virgin imo. Flew with them to NZ via LA and the Cook Islands - brilliant. And of course the wine was lush Marlborugh Sauv Blanc. I think we had 140+ entertainment channels to choose from. We flew back from Oz with Virgin via Hong Kong - OK but not as good as Air NZ.
