Bridport - what to see around and about!

Anyone a local or know the area well?

Done Lyme Regis/Charmouth fossil hunting etc - what else to see/do in the area?

Maybe inland/coast? I don't mind.

Any ideas please?

The Bull in Bridport for lunch;
Chesil Beach;
Abbotsbury-nice and scenic, also has a swan sanctuary and a lovely chapel on the hill to walk to;
Some nice bits of the South Coast path to do (the tourist office is good on that).

I'm only in Bournemouth, and have done Chesil, Lyme, Abbotsbury etc! Wondering if there are some more 'local' places I have missed!!!

Ah, ok sorry.

Take your fishing gear down to the pier at West Bay, the sound of the waves there is like no where else, swoosh, swoosh, all those little pebbles!

Also try Washingpool farm cafe/ farm shop.
