Hi there

Have never been to that resort personally but we are off to Menorca on Friday and have found the reviews on the Trip Advisor website very helpful in terms of getting a bit of an insight into the resort. In fact the reviews for that resort are here

In terms of the cots - does your lo still sleep in a cot at home? Would he sleep in a "big" bed i.e a bed without rails? We've just moved our 22 month to a toddler bed, as he was climbing out of his cot at home and it was becoming unsafe. We were worried he now wouldn't sleep in a travel cot (or wooden one for that matter) on holiday but didn't want him falling out of a big bed.

We have got this My First Ready Bed, after it was recommended to us. If you have a few weeks it may be something you could get and try out at home before you go, to see if he would sleep in it. Downside is that they are quite small so he wouldn't get much use out of it but my ds absolutely loves it and it's much smaller and lighter than taking a travel cot.

Right time to stop mumsnetting and start packing.

Hi, just got back from there last week with our 2yr old, you'll love it!
The cots are travel cots and not wooden but our dd slept fine in it and you will have a 'big' bed for him there if you prefer that.
I did spot a nursery shop en route to the airport -probably 10mins from the resort, it looked fairly big though I didn't go in.
There are kids clubs as you probably already know, though the club for 2-3yr olds wasn't up to much, there really wasn't much going on there, and the 4 or so kids that were in there were either running riot or looking a bit lost. My dd didn't want to stay and I didn't push it.
That said, I think the older clubs were very popular.
There was still plenty to do though, One of the main reasons I booked there was because of the baby club, but there was also a soft play room, a couple of playgrounds, and the beach & pools of course!
My dd adored the 'baby buffet' where she could choose her own dinner, followed by the mini disco every evening, which she's still asking for!
A couple of tips, go out of the hotel and into the (very small) town to the Barcelo bar where there is a small waterpark - perfect for toddlers!
Also you can catch a little train just outside the hotel for a few euros which takes you to the next town.
Have a great time! We're thinking of going back next year!
