Holiday in Lisbon with 6mo n grandparents... What to do

We r going on hols to lisbon with our DD 6omo n my parents. Any ideas for what to do rather then staying on the beach?

Used to live on the Lisbon coast. It is fab! DD still wails 'when are we going home to Cascais' from time to time.

Local train to Cascais, lovely beaches and facilities, space and bliss. Also a zoo there but too too smelly and your LO is too little anyway. And Sintra is lovely. You won't do the hilly bits with a buggy but the air there is cool and reviving.

In the city, go up to the restaurant in the castle and do the waterside, particularly the statue to the discoveries, always makes me want to be extra adventurous.

I would be on a plane to Lisbon tomorrow if I could. I hope you enjoy it.
