bournemouth what to do?

Im going to bournemouth with hubby and 7month son any ideas for what to?

I'm assuming your DS isn't quite interacting with the evironment just yet (crawling, pointing, etc).

When we visited there wasn't a whole lot for pre-toddlers. You could take him for a push down the beach seawall (although difficult to get parked near bournemouth beach), or maybe for a walk in the new forest (I seem to recall Bolderwood is fairly push-chair friendly).

We have done Burley in the New Forest (some nice odd shops), but the lack of pavements and pedestrian crossings means you have to be wary of traffic.

Maybe Bournemouth Aquarium - probably better for older children but might be good still.

If you went shopping in Poole you could always walk the length of the high street down to the docks and look at the boats.
