If so come and tell me all about it and if you have been to the Anassa in Cyprus and can compare the two, so much the better .

I've posted this before, but useful I hope: reviews of Sani (my friend just got back from a week there with her 2 daughters and loved it)

Sani village is nice - short airport transfer, spacious and well-equipped rooms, lovely pools, huge beach, quality childrens club (was run by powder byrne?), good choice of restauarants and bars, great pools, spa, bike hire, babysitting

BUT - it is all one resort, there is no escaping - the restauarants look like they're all independent, but in reality they're all owned by the hotel. (as are all the shops!) - great for an easy family holiday, but not great for seeing the real greece? there is also the sani beach club which has larger rooms/villas?

don;t know about the anassa though sorry......

Have stayed at the Sani Beach Hotel about 6 or 7 times now. As gladders says, it is all one resort. But that doesn't bother us. We still love that we can walk down to the Marina every evening for dinner in a different restaurant.

We were not bothered by seeing real Greece as have done on other occasions.

It's nice. Easy. Can never justify uplift in cost for Asterias or Porto Sani Village but maybe next time.

but when we were there the people from the hotel weren't allowed to use the main beach?? and if you were half board your menu choices in the restauarants weren't nearly as nice ( we were given the dinner menu for the hotel one evening by mistake....)

From the hotel you can use some of the beach and there is another bit of the beach around the headland behind the hotel also. Never really bothered us as we prefer the pool. Also never book half board just Bed and breakfast. But we live in Budapest and book it direct with hotel and not as a package.
