Paultons Park - anyone been?

We are thinking about taking our two DC plus the grandparents - would it be a fun day out do you think? Is there enough to occupy all generations?

If not, what other multi-generational places to see are there in the Hampshire area

(aside Marwell - done that!).

Ta!

We love Paulton's Park! Better for smaller children really ie under 12s, as the rides tend to be a bit more low key - Alton Towers it ain't!

There is lots to do, and plenty of places for picnics.

Otherwise you could visit Moors Valley, Manor Farm, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or Birdworld

Ta Sidge, our DC are still small, so PP sounds good. I am just worried the grandparents might be bored - I don't imagine they would go on lots of rides ? Any idea what the queues would be like on a term time July day?

We love Moors Valley and Manor Farm too - had many a nice day there. Not tried the Dockyard or Birdworld though - will take a look.

Thank you!

We were just thinking about going to Paultons. I went there years ago when DC1 and 2 were young but now thinking of taking DC3 and 4 aged 3.7 and 17 months. We are back to the UK in a few days and have a couple of 'family time' days before DH returns to the ME for the summer.
We are spending a few days down at the New Forest and visiting PP and from reading this sounds like a good idea.
Any other nice places to go in NF area? Have forgotten the name of the hotel where we are staying but think its on the edge of the NF
